Chinese Democracy is the sixth studio album by American rockGuns N' Roses. It was released on November 23, 2008, worldwide, except in the United Kingdom on November 24, 2008. It is the band's first studio album since 1993's "The Spaghetti Incident?", and their first album of original studio material since the simultaneous release of Use Your Illusion I and II in September 1991. As of February 3, 2009 the album has sold a total of 2.6 million copies worldwide and was certified as platinum. Like an exclusive release of AC/DC Black Ice, Chinese Democracy was an exclusive release for Best Buy and an a Rolling Stone magazine article named "Why Black Ice Beat Chinese Democracy" it is said to be an industry flop due to poor sales.
